Inter Brokers rules for your own cargo LCL or FCL to Colombia

(Reglas de INTER BROKERS para sus despachos de carga LCL o FCL hacia Colombia)

 

Dear Forwarders :

(Estimados Agentes de Carga)

 

It is very important to read these rules for a better working relationship and avoiding fines

(Es muy importante que lean estas reglas para una mejor relacion de trabajo y evitar multas)

 

Due to strong regulations and fines in Colombia for our forwarding work we have established the following  rules, for which please read carefully below:

(Debido a fuertes regulaciones y multas en Colombia para el esquema de agentes de carga, hemos establecido las sgtes reglas)

 

Following rules must be accepted by your company before sending any cargoes to us:

(Las siguientes reglas deberan ser aceptadas por su empresa, antes de enviarnos cualquier carga:)

 

  1. MAX CIF VALUE of your cargo: 100.000 US DOLLARS, due to the risk involve with fines.

(MAX VALOR CIF de su carga : 100.000 Dolares, debido al riesgo de multas del negocio)

  1. BEFORE sending any cargo you have to inform us CONSIGNEE full details, this will allow us to check his position and if they are ready to paid for the local charges.

(ANTES de enviar la carga nos debe informar detalles del Consignatario, para chequear que va a pagar los gastos locales)

  1. BEFORE sending any cargo you have to inform us the SELLING RATE and the COST RATE for customs purposes (Unknown rates have caused big problems with consignees)

(ANTES de enviar la carga nos tiene que informar el flete de VENTA y COSTO para propositos aduaneros, fletes desconocidos nos han causado serio problemas con el

  Consignatario)

  1. BEFORE sending any cargo you have to email the DRAFT MASTER BL and the DRAFT HOUSE BL and we will check with the consignee if HOUSE is information is correct.

(ANTES de despachar la carga nos tiene que enviar copia del borrador del BL MASTER y del HIJO para revisarlo y confirmarle que esta bien elaborado)

  1. INMEDIATELY after vessel sails you have to email : MASTER BL + HOUSE BL

(INMEDIATO que buque zarpa nos envia x email BL MASTER e HIJO definitivo)

  1. ORIGINAL MASTER BL must be received on time (previous vessel arrival) into our office address, in case not issue locally

(MASTER debe ser recibido a tiempo, antes de la llegada del barco a nuestras oficinas, en caso que no lo emitan localmente)

  1. HOUSE BL also to be received previous vsl arrival or if you prefer, we can issued here in Colombia

(HOUSE igual debe ser recibido con anticipacion a la llegada del barco o si lo prefiere lo hacemos en Colombia)

  1. We need you to be in contact with us during the whole operation in case changes on the MASTER and assistance need it.

(Necesitamos que este en contacto con nosotros durante toda la operacion, caso que se requieran solicitar cambios y su asistencia)

  1. MASTER BL and HOUSE BL instructions must be follow as indicated

      (Nuestras instrucciones al MASTER y HOUSE se deben seguir como indicadas)

  1. In case you fail to follow above instructions and customs penalized us for lack of documents on time, you are liable/responsible for the below fines/multas:

(En caso que ud falle a estas instrucciones sera responsible de las multas a que seamos sometidos, que siempre trataremos que no existan)

 

RAZONES DE MULTAS EN COLOMBIA:

COLOMBIAN FINES(MULTAS) apply for defaults such us:

  • Wrong information on the bl (Incorrecta informacion en el BL)
  • Late delivery of HOUSE BL to customs (Entrega del HOUSE fuera de tiempo)
  • Not informing customs abt the changes to MASTER/HOUSE BL on the proper time (No hacer cambios al MASTER/HOUSE a tiempo)

 

VALUE FINES(VALOR DE LAS MULTAS):

TO THE IMPORTER: 20% on the CIF VALUE, which is also responsibility of the forwarder.

(Al importador, 20% sobre el valor CIF de la mercancia, lo cual es responsabilidad tambien del agente de carga

TO THE FORWARDER: 20% - 50% on the freight rate

(Al agente de carga entre 20-50% del valor del flete)
